The Fault in Our Stars in now in Hebrew!

John Green’s bestselling novel “The Fault in Our Stars” becomes his first book translated to Hebrew. This comes just over a week after there has been a first sighting of the English versions in the local bookstore “Steimatzky”.

It’ll be called אשמת הכוכבים (Ash’mat Ha’Kokhavim), which though mostly accurate, literally means “The Stars Fault”. I also am not sure what I think of the cover design.

The book is published by Yediot Books (who also does the Hebrew versions of other popular English titles, like the Harry Potter series, Harlen Coben’s books, and many others) so I am not too worried that the story will be butchered.

I wonder what John thinks of the cover (and the translated title)…
